such a long month and yet somehow very short. I left my house more than I have all winter. I even went to Seattle and saw nature up close an personal (would recommend)

went to a hockey game, bought some books, said hello to CTL on the shelf, saw my next book up close and personal for the first time (so beautiful), and had some lovely translations of CTL arrive on my doorstep. I’m also back on my macaron bullsh*t after not being able to look at them for several months following CTL’s release when I ate far too many. there’s a part in RIDE WITH ME where Stella rants about macarons and… yeah, that was me for a while, very true to life.

May is shaping up to be a big month (RWM comes out May 20!) and I’m so ready for it. for now, back to the writing cave to finish book 3 🏎️❤️✨

we are officially THREE WEEKS away from the release of RIDE WITH ME! 💜

here’s a little re-introduction to the book, and also a reminder that there’s still time to preorder from @eastcitybookshop and @westendlanebooks - you’ll get stickers and a bookmark if you preorder from either store!

I know I keep saying it, but I’m so excited for this book to be out. it’s partially because I’m so ready for y’all to be able to read it, but also because I get to travel and chat about it. here are all the places I’ll be:

May 18 - Online - @bookloversbookshop is hosting a Zoom discussion for us to chat about RWM, F1, and romance (and F1 romance!) so be sure to grab a ticket if you want to join us!

May 19 - Brooklyn, NY - @therippedbodice is hosting author of THE CHARMER @authoravarani and I’m her conversation partner! Grab a ticket to come listen to us chat and get your books signed (you can also order signed copies of CTL and RWM from their website)

May 23 - London - join me at Waterstones White City @waterstoneswestfield for a signing! (tickets come with a copy of RWM and I will happily sign up to three other books as well!)

May 25 - London - the fabulous @pitwallrecs team is once again hosting a Monaco GP watch party! There will be a signing/Q&A afterward (hurry, just a few tickets left!)

WHEN I THINK OF YOU was one of the first books I picked up this year after I finished all my RWM proofreads, and the second I read both the dedication and the author’s note at the beginning, I had a feeling the book was going to end up on my favorites list. And what do you know, I got to the last page (after plenty of tears and laughter) and popped it right on that list!!

NO ORDINARY LOVE is currently sitting on my shelf and staring me down to be read, but that’s going to be my treat for when I finish writing book 3 in the Lights Out series (motivation to finish it faster tbh). Already know I’m gonna love it simply because the FMC’s name is Ella Simone (did you know I’m a Leo, bet you couldn’t guess)
